The State Funeral for Her Majesty The Queen took place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September at 11am.

여왕 폐하의 국장 장례식이  2022년 9월 19일 월요일 오전 11시에  웨스트민스터 사원에서 거행되었다.

 

The Queen’s coffin is taken in procession to Westminster Abbey to the tune of "Mist Covered Mountains" by the massed Pipes and Drums of the Scottish and Irish Regiments, Royal Navy, Gurkhas and Royal Air Force service men and women.

 

여왕의 관은 스코틀랜드와 아일랜드 연대, 왕립 해군, 구르카(영국 육군), 왕립 공군 남녀 군인들의 파이프와 드럼에 의해 "안개 덮인 산"의 선율에 맞춰 웨스트민스터 사원으로 운구된다.

 

The State Gun Carriage of the Royal Navy, drawn by 142 sailors will carry the coffin.

여왕의 관은  142명의 해군이 이끄는 왕립 해군 총기 마차에 실려가게 된다.

 

Westminster Abbey,장례식을 주최하는 사원은 1953년 엘리자베스2세의 대관식을 포함해 영국 왕과 여왕들이 즉위하는 역사적인 교회이다. 또한 이곳은 1947년 엘리자베스 공주가 필립 왕자와 결혼한 곳이기도 하다.

Beautiful classic tune with a soaring tonality on pipes not heard in the minor key versions of other instruments. Played at JFK graveside and Queen Mother's funeral. From the stereo vinyl album "Scots Guards Pipes and Drums - Marches," one of the only recordings I know much before the mid to late 60's with excellent rock-steady tuning and light, intricate playing by a large band. Uses the old melodic style drumming from before the Alex Duthart era, pipe pitch much lower than today. You have to listen through online compression, heavily played vinyl and 50's hi-fi-stereo engineering, but it's a very powerful band sound. Mostly march-strathspey-reel-6/8 and street- & slow march sets. The recording was still being sold into the 1970's but I've never seen a CD print.

 

다른 악기의 마이너 키 버전에서는 들을 수 없는 파이프의 치솟는 음색이 있는 아름다운 클래식 곡입니다. JFK 묘지와 여왕 어머니의 장례식에서 연주했습니다. 스테레오 바이닐 앨범 "Scots Guards Pipes and Drums - Marches"에서 60년대 중후반 이전에 내가 많이 아는 유일한 녹음 중 하나로서 뛰어난 락스테디 튜닝과 가벼움, 대규모 밴드의 복잡한 연주가 있습니다. Alex Duthart 시대 이전의 오래된 멜로디 스타일 드럼 연주를 사용하며 파이프 피치는 오늘날보다 훨씬 낮습니다. 온라인 컴프레션, 많이 연주되는 바이닐, 50년대 하이파이 스테레오 엔지니어링을 통해 들어야 하는데 굉장히 파워풀한 밴드 사운드다. 대부분 march-strathspey-reel-6/8 및 거리 및 느린 행진 세트입니다. 그 음반은 1970년대까지 여전히 판매되고 있었지만 나는 CD 프린트를 본 적이 없다.

Written in 1856 by Highlander John Cameron a native of Ballachulish and known locally in the Gaelic fashion as Iain Rob and Iain Òg Ruaidh. The song is a longing for home with its wistful calming melody and traditional ballad rhythms it is often used as a lullaby.
